Happy 20th Birthday Nicole
3/23/89








Nikki died Oct. 5, 2005, at her home.
Born March 23, 1989, in Parma, she had been a lifetime Eastlake resident.
Nikki was a student at Eastlake North High School.

Survivors are her mother, Suzanne Smee, her stepfather Kirk Smee; father, Frank Vance Stepmother Patty; sisters, Casey and Erin Vance; stepsisters, Elizabeth and Sarah Smee and Kimberly Jackson; stepbrothers, Christopher Theurer and Brian Kovanitz; grandmothers, Christine Vance and Barbara Kulik; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Her grandfathers, Charles Vance and Robert Kulik, are deceased.
She has been laid to rest at  All Souls Cemetery in Chardon Township.

Staring at the ceiling
Do you realize I absorb

Whenever you’re thinking of me

That helps me to grow stronger
Giving me a warm embrace

Also remember when you sleep
If you see me in your dreams
Reality’s what we believe
Holds us together at the seams

If you feel me in your soul
And hear me in your heart
Believe me when I tell you
We are not that far apart

I know how much it hurt you
There was no time to say good-bye
And I’m sorry for no answer
For all your questions asking why

Know there will come a point
You will completely understand
That all events within this life
Go exactly as they’re planned





This memorial website was created in the memory of our loved one, Nicole "Nikki" Vance who was born in Ohio on March 23, 1989 and passed away on October 05, 2005 at the age of 16. We will remember her forever.



There is a lot coming in the near future to this memorial as we start setup. Sue and I (Kim) are going to be building upon the tributes, information, and photos here as we work together at not only piecing together a memorial for a lovely, incredible young woman...but piecing together the healing that all who loved Nikki, so dearly need.
Nikki was indeed a sweet young woman whose life and presence will be missed greatly and the heavens have added to them another bright star...lighting up in all her enchanting glory as a beautiful soul, each night for us to see.
Please come back soon as we keep adding more. Thank you all who visit and care, for being so supportive and offering your comfort. After all, when all is said and done....love is all that matters. I am honored and greatful that I can be a part of this.
